Slide-Out Camp Kitchen

Professional grade. Half the cost.

Onboard running water and dual 10,000 BTU burners, built into a slide-out that pulls out to cook and tucks back when you are done. A traditional slide-out kitchen costs about twice as much once you have added a stove and a water kit.

Onboard running water

A pump-fed faucet moves about a litre a minute, with hoses for inlet and drainage. Wash your hands and rinse a pan without hauling a jug off the tailgate.

Dual 10,000 BTU burners

Two full burners on propane with quick-connect fittings. Enough heat to sear, not just simmer, and no separate camp stove to buy, mount and store.

Half the cost, fully equipped

A comparable slide-out kitchen runs two to three thousand before you add a stove or a water kit. This is one price with both already built in.

Against a traditional slide-out kitchen

Most slide-out kitchens sell you the slide and the cabinetry. The stove is extra and the water system is extra, so by the time the thing will actually cook you have spent two to three thousand dollars. Ours arrives with both already in it.
  Traditional slide-out kitchen HitchFire Slide-Out
Burners Stove usually sold separately Dual 10,000 BTU, included
Running water Often an add-on kit, if offered at all Onboard pump and faucet, included
Ready to cook Source a stove, fit it, sort out water Opens and cooks
The kitchen box Fixed in the slide Lifts straight out and comes with you
What you actually pay $2,000 to $3,000 before the stove One price, roughly half a comparable build

Slide-out camp kitchen questions

Does it have running water?

Yes. An onboard pump-fed faucet moves about one litre a minute, with hoses for inlet and drainage. There is no separate water kit to buy.

How many burners does it have?

Two, at 10,000 BTU each, running on propane with quick-connect fittings. That is a real cooking surface, not a single backpacking burner.

Why is it half the cost of a traditional slide-out kitchen?

Most slide-out kitchens sell you the slide and the cabinetry, then the stove and the water system on top. This is one price with the burners and the water already in it, built around the Camp Kitchen we already produce.

What vehicles does it fit?

SUVs and trucks. The full fitment list is published before the first build ships, and everyone who pre-orders gets it first.

Can I take the kitchen out of the slide-out?

Yes. The Camp Kitchen box drops in and lifts straight back out, so you can carry it to a picnic table or leave it at home.

What is it made of?

Aluminum and stainless steel, and it is backed by the 2-year HitchFire manufacturer warranty.

When do pre-orders ship?

Spring 2027. The first build is limited and pre-orders are filled in the order they come in.

What does the pre-order get me?

$400 off the launch price, a unit from the limited first build, and the build photos, specs and fitment list before they go public.
